THE FISHING SEASONS

Lake Agua Milpa offers the longest bass fishing season in Mexico. The season is 8 months long!! The normal season for Mexico lakes is 5 to 6 months. The fishing season starts in the middle of October and finishes at the end of June.

October - First half of November:
You start the season off fishing with plastics. This will be with worms or lizards.

2nd half of November - December:
This time period is a time when you will be utilizing a lot of spinner baits. Make sure you use at least 1/2 oz. spinners and you have plenty of them.

January - February:
This tends to be the most action you will see on topwaters. Make sure you bring plenty of Pop'R baits with you. You will also be

March - June:
You start the month off with a lot of spinner baits and it progresses to a very strong plastic style of fishing.

THE SPAWN:
The spawn occurs in the months of March, April and May. This time period has shown to be one of the best times to fish of the entire season for numbers and size.
