LAKE AGUA MILPA MEXICO BASS FISHING

Mexico Bass Fishing Trips
for NUMBERS of Quality Bass.

TRANSPORTATION

lake agua milpa mexico bass fishing resorts

Lake Agua Milpa is located 45 minutes outside of Tepic, Mexico. You should make travel arrangements to fly into Guadalajara. You will be met at the airport by a representative of the resort. From the airport you will take a 2 to 2 1/2 hour ride to the resort. Transportation is provided by a well-maintained chartered airport van. (5 fishermen per van, this ensures plently of room for people and gear) The ride is pleasant and very scenic. The ride is on a divided four-lane toll road that would rival many stretches of the U.S. interstate system. The toll from Guadalajara to Tepic is about $25, and this stiff tariff keeps routine traffic to a minimum.

You drive north through the state of Jalisco. Jalisco is the tequila capital of the world. This area has blue-green fields of maguey plants across the brown hills and valleys. You will then cross into the state of Nayarit, and then it is a very short ride to the lake. Close to Tepic you will exit the toll road, and then take a 2 lane road to the resort.

There are normally no check points on your drive. This ride is very safe and comfortable!!
