LOCAL WEATHER CONDITIONS

The weather at Lake Agua Milpa is great. During the fishing season you might need a light jacket when you start fishing, and then again when you finish your fishing for the day. Otherwise, you will be comfortable in jeans or shorts, depending on the day and the individual. Mosquitos and flies do not create a problem for the fishermen. In the morning there will be a breeze from the east, and then in the afternoon, you will most likley see a breeze from the west. This helps keeps the conditions very pleasant for your fishing. November thru June provides a very pleasant time period for fishing. We have personally fished the lake in August. The morning was great, but the afternoon did get a bit warm. This is the only lake in Mexico, that the weather allows you to fish comfortably in June!!
