Westside Adventures started off as Westside Lodge and Guide Service on Lake Fork, Texas. Many of Kent's clients were always asking him where to go bass fishing in Mexico, so he started doing the research and decided to take a group down to Mexico in September of 1997. What started off as a group of his friends and best clients, turned into people consistently asking him to take them bass fishing in Mexico. He has since, traveled all over Mexico and Brazil checking for the best bass fishing destinations south of the United States.
Kent takes pride in the fact that all parts of his business are very straight forward and honest. He tries to make sure that each one of his clients have a great fishing trip, no matter whether it is at Lake Fork, on the Amazon River, or one of the Mexico bass fishing destinations.
Kent fully understands the apprehension people feel when thinking about taking a bass fishing trip out of the United States. Kent will speak with each client in detail to learn what the client is looking for in a perfect bass fishing trip, and then will recommend the best location for that client. Every client is different, so talking with the clients before booking and fully understanding what they are expecting is a very important process of arranging a bass fishing trip. Kent has chosen the best locations and lodges available. He wants every client to return home with many good memories of their fishing trip.
Kent Clifton has 18 plus years experience guiding. He has many years of experience fishing for trophy bass and tournament fishing in his younger days. Kent still guides on Lake Fork, when he is not traveling with clients.
