EL TESORO LODGE
El Tesoro Lodge is located four miles south of San Fernando, Mexico which is the undisputed bobwhite capitol of the world. This San Fernando Valley is a 7,000-square-mile conglomeration of sorghum, corn and cattle operations. The region's quail find food and cover in abundance and are flourishing. The lodge manager is disappointmented whenever a day's effort doesn't yield at least 20 coveys.
In addition to quail, this area offers world-class duck, goose and dove hunting. A morn-ing spent in one of the lodge's well-constructed duck blinds routinely affords opportunities to shoot seven or eight species of ducks as well as the odd goose, snipe or sandhill crane.
El Tesoro's staff strives in providing the best possible hunting combined with the most comfortable and exciting place to stay.
We achieve this by catering only to small groups at a time. Our hunting is the best that we have located in the heart of Mexico's premier hunting habitat.
El Tesoro Lodge is the only Lodge of its kind to offer private plane transportation to and from the El Tesoro Lodge included in its package hunts. The lodge features a 60 foot wide paved runway that can accomodate any size plane.
El Tesoro Lodge is built around a beautiful stone swimming pool. "There is nothing more pleasing during a hot afternoon than sitting in the pool drinking a frozen margarita." A game room is also available, where you cn play a game of pool. The bedrooms are first class, every necessity from hot water to room service is available. The food is probably the greatest attribute! The chef is wonderful and you are guaranteed delicious meals.
