El Tesoro's staff strives in providing the best possible hunting combined with the most comfortable and exciting place to stay.

The staff of El Tesoro will impress you the most. In the field, guides and bird boys labor intensively to show hunters incredible numbers of game; whereas back at the lodge waiters and bartenders are attentive, keeping glasses topped off and plates full all night long. The staff is genuinely proud of their association with El Tesoro, and it shows.

We achieve this by catering only to small groups at a time. Our hunting is the best that we have located in the heart of Mexico's premier hunting habitat.

El Tesoro Lodge is the only Lodge of its kind to offer private plane transportation to and from the odge included in its package hunts. The lodge features a 60 foot wide paved runway that can accomodate any size plane.

mexico hunting lodgesEl Tesoro Lodge is built around a beautiful stone swimming pool. "There is nothing more pleasing during a hot afternoon than sitting in the pool drinking a frozen margarita." A game room is also available, where you can play a game of pool. The bedrooms are first class, every necessity from hot water to room service is available. The food is probably the greatest attribute! The chef is wonderful and you are guaranteed delicious meals.

mexico hunting lodgeThe lodge can accommodate 22 hunters on a double-occupancy basis. The rooms are serviceable and have private baths. Most hunters opt for open-air siestas in the hammocks that hang over the patios outside each room.

The 2,400-square-foot main lodge consists of a dining area, bar and lounge --all neat, clean and comfortable. Its charming décor and appointments combine to generate an atmosphere best described as simpatico.
