Mexico Bass Fishing for TROPHY Bass
THE FISHING
 Lake Guerrero is a 97,000 acre, man made lake with rocks, trees, bluffs,
creek, river turns, points, ect. It was established as an
American hunting / fishing treasure in the 60's. For years it was
know for catching numbers of 1 to 5 pound bass, but over the
years it has became known for producing numbers of 10+ pound bass.
It holds a lake record of over 19 pounds, and every year produces
1 or more fish over 16 pounds.
Best trophy times are the winter and early
spring. Fishermen can expect to catch on average 30 fish a day per
person. The size will vary, but the bass in the 6+ pound range
is not unsual.
SIZE REGUALTIONS
Nov. 1 - April 30: minimum size is 14 inches
May 1 - Oct. 31: minimum size is 12 inches
Only one fish per day of 22.1 inches or greater is allowed.
Bass in the 17.5 to 22 inch size are never allowed to be taken.
SEASONS
November and December: This is the time of the spawn.
January: This is when the water temperatures start to drop.
January - March: The best time for the trophy fish.
February - May: The best of the best time to fish.
